The city of Santos does not have its own airport. The nearest airport is Congonhas (CGH) in São Paulo, which is 75 km from Santos and operates domestic flights only. Other nearby airports are Guarulhos (GRU), 108.4 km away and Viracopos (VCP), 171.5 km away, also in São Paulo.
The trip from the airports in São Paulo to the city of Santos by road takes approximately 1:30 hours (Congonhas), 2 hours (Guarulhos) and 2:30 hours (Viracopos).

Visas and documentation

To enter Brazil, a valid passport is required (or National Identity Card only for those coming from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela).
Although it is not mandatory, getting an international travel insurance that includes a COVID-19 coverage clause is strongly recommended.

Covid & Yellow fever protocols

As for April 1st, 2022 Brazil does not require a COVID-19 test with negative result to allow entry into the country.
Upon arrival: you must present your certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 stating complete inoculation at least 14 days prior to the trip. Click here to know which cases are exempted from presenting vaccination certificate.
The yellow fever vaccination certificate is not mandatory, but it is advisable to carry it along in case you have been vaccinated.
