The Companhia Docas do Ceará is a Brazilian company that manages the Port of Fortaleza, acting as Port Authority. The Ente Administrador Puerto de Rosario ENAPRO, is a non-state public entity responsible for the management, administration and operation of the port of Rosario through the concession of its terminals to private companies and directly itself.
ENAPRO works jointly with the concessionaires in order to facilitate and promote the development of port activities, examining their performance and ensuring the normal fulfillment of the contractual obligations.
ENAPRO has three terminals: Terminal Puerto Rosario S.A. (T.P.R. S.A.); Servicios Portuarios S.A. and Nueva Terminal Fluvial (NTF). Terminal Puerto Rosario S.A. provides services for the port operation of different types of cargo for import, export and transit cargo. This multipurpose terminal has a capacity of 240,000 tn for solid bulks and 78,000 m3 for liquid bulks. Aside for the facilities for the storage of goods, it has open-air yards with an approximate capacity of 500,000 tons and 7,000 teu's.
Servicios Portuarios S.A. is formed by terminals VI and VII, with two berths prepared for loading two vessels simultaneously, totally independent from each other and with ample loading rates. It has its own yard at the Terminal for 1700 trucks, and another concentrator yard. The storage capacity is 225,000 tons. The theoretical productivity for each of the docks is 1600 - 1800 tn /hr (this variation is in relation to the product function).
The New Rosario River Passenger Terminal is located meters away from the National Flag Monument. ENAPRO's new Passenger Terminal has conditioned docks, river transportation, security, emergency service, boarding room, restrooms, cafeteria service and ticket office.
